Monash MBA learn from Telstra expert

MBA alumni learnt about Australian telcommunications issues at a recent event addressed by David Moffatt, Group Managing Director at Telstra Consumer Marketing and Channels. Mr Moffatt provided a thought- provoking account of the challenges facing Telstra and the need for Australia to be able to compete in the 'fast lane' by investing in telecommunication infrastructure.

Nearly 50 alumni enjoyed the cocktail event, sponsored by Middletons and hosted by the newly-formed Monash MBA Alumni Committee including Cameron Abbott (MBA 2007), Irena Hyde (MBA 2001), Wayne Bartlett (MBA 2006), John Carruthers (MBA 1995) and Tom Quinlan (MBA 2007).

The MBA Alumni Committee is looking forward to holding a number of activities in 2008, including an event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Monash MBA.
