Preparing your application and work experience documentsThe Master of Business Administration at Monash Graduate School of Business has a mandatory work experience requirement. To adequately demonstrate your experience, you will need to write a descriptive resume. Prospective students often like to keep their work experience document to one page, but this is not a time to be modest or brief. As your application is assessed on your work experience, we need to know all about it. Relevant work experienceFor the Master of Business Administration, you will need to demonstrate two years, but preferably four years, of professional or managerial experience. Managerial experience is when you have worked as a supervisor of staff, and professional experience includes those jobs such as auditors, accountants, lawyers or similar positions where you work at a high level but don't necessarily supervise staff. Things to include are:Your achievements - not only do you need to describe your duties, but you need to describe your acheivements. Things such as improvements or innovations you have implemented, challenges you have overcome as part of your job. Your career progression - we need to be able to see how you have moved from your first job to your current job. Tell us a bit about your organisation - the type of organisation, the marketplace, number of employees, and your role ie: .." MousePad make $20 million in profit per annum, and are increasing marketshare by 5% each year.
